The idea behind this layout was simply to build a 'round and round' for fetes and shows. The layout uses standard '00' off the shelf items and should appeal to children of all ages, as favourite characters will be seen running around.

The photo on the left shows the layout in its early stages of construction, bare boards and testing of the track.

The photo below shows progress to date. The small lights that can be seen glowing on the board will be inside buildings when the buildings are eventually placed over the lamps.

The next jobs to do are to install buildings and some trees, this should make the layout appear more complete.
