The Club meets on Thursday evenings from 8 pm to 10 pm in St Paul's Centre
on the corner of Church Street and Old Park Avenue, Enfield, Middlesex,
England. This is by the traffic lights at the bottom of Windmill Hill.
The Centre is a few minutes walk from WAGN Railways Enfield Chase Station,
and bus stops for all major routes are nearby. There is a car park at
the rear of the centre, with additional parking through the gates by the
Data Connection offices. The Centre is about 10 minutes drive from Junction
25 on the M25. Also, see Find Us (Directions).
Prospective new members
and visitors are welcome at any of our meetings on Thursday evenings.
Please enter by the rear door from the car park and then go down the corridor
to the main hall where we meet. Activities include building layouts, exhibiting
layouts, slide and film shows and visits to preserved railways. Existing
members have a very wide range of modelling skills which they are always
willing to share with new members.
Some of the members'
layouts are described on this web site, and shows where they are appearing are on the 'Diary page', see below.
Our members model
in a variety of scales and gauges, ranging from N gauge through 00 and
0 gauge to gauge 1 and G scale. We have members who belong to the Gauge
3 Society, and others with experience of 5 inch and 7 and a quarter inch
live steam, four are members of the EM Gauge Society. This list is not exhaustive so a visit to our club could prove to be very worthwhile, you might even join! The knowledge and experience within our relatively small group is immense. Look forward to seeing you.
