Enfield Town Model Railway ClubRetired or Dismantled Layouts Section Much Sawing - 'G' Scale by Peter Watson THE CRIPPLE CREEK MATCH & PLANK COMPANY The layout is a first attempt to build a portable scenic G scale layout, the scale of which is 1 to 20.3 (15 mm to the foot) which gives a track gauge of 3 feet. The layout shows a small logging camp built around Cripple Creek and passing trains demonstrate the different sorts of logging trains which could be seen on the various railroads. The track used is LGB, most stock used is from Bachmann with some LGB and others made from wooden kits. All have been weathered. The few buildings are made from pine strip or balsa wood.
